Attention Public: We cannot permit any public inside the secured gate area of OXC Airport for the planned morning departures as it could disrupt and delay flight operations, inevitably putting our entire mission in jeopardy. Please understand, we are not in the business of scheduling this departure for what works best for the public, however this is specifically facilitated to stay on a strict tour timetable, with commitments at PQI starting midday on Saturday May 18.
Beyond May 18, these aircraft must make quite a challenging journey crossing the Northern Atlantic through Canada, Greenland, and Iceland, before reaching Scotland and then England, in time for scheduled jump operations, training and events.
You are welcome to come and watch from outside the gate, off Juliano Drive at OXC.
If you have any questions, you can direct them to our team by using the ‘Contact Us’ form on this page: https://www.ddaysquadron.org/contact.
Please Note: sending multiple inquiries during a time we are already inundated does not produce quicker replies. We have much on our plate to execute a safe and successful mission. Please ONLY reach out if it’s needed.
